Most kids are inherently afraid of monsters at some point in their lives. After all, who knows what could be lurking in the shadows under the bed? (If we’re being honest, even some adults are still a little afraid of the dark. Don’t worry. It’s totally okay to leap into bed in order to avoid having your ankles grabbed by the monster waiting beneath. We’ve all been there a time or three.)

We think that monsters have gotten a bad rap over the years. They’re not all terrifying, multi-headed, multi-tentacled beasts of wretched ankle-grabbing rage. Some of them are actually pretty friendly and playful, just like our Treasure Monsters.

Designed by YouWorkForThem, Treasure Monsters is a collection of 50 vector illustrations of adorable little monster portraits. Featuring only one head apiece and absolutely zero tentacles, Treasure Monsters are mischievous and hip. They’re nothing at all like the horrid creatures who lived beneath your bed as a child. (Those guys probably aren’t still lurking under there. But just to be on the safe side… don’t look. Never. Look.)

Treasure Monsters are the perfect addition to any design project that needs a bit of fantasy and whimsy.
